Service Pipe

At Petromar we provide High Density Polyethylene Pipes conforming to ISO 4427 produced inhouse and Carbon steel Pipes conforming to ASTM A 53 GR B standard as service pipes, how ever we also insulate other pipes such as Glass Reinforced Pipes(GRP), ABS Pipes, Cross Linked polyethylene and polypropylene pipes as per the customer requirement

Jacket Pipe

At Petromar we produce ASTM D 3350 / EN 253 standard seamless extruded HDPE PE100 Jacket Pipes. How ever we also provide other materials as jacket pipe.

Insulation

At Petromar we use Polyurethane (PU)/ Polyisocyanurate(PIR) as the insulation material. We follow EN 253 standard for insulation where is we use high pressure foam which is injected into the annular space between the core and the jacket pipe. PU is a polymer composed of a chain of organic units joined by carbamate (urethane) links. Polyurethane polymers are formed by reacting an isocyanate(MDI) with a polyol. Both the isocyanates and polyols used to make polyurethanes contain on average two or more functional groups per molecule. Petromar makes use of Closed Cell Foam where most cells remain intact thus providing better thermal resistance as compared to the traditional mineral wool insulation. PIR is similar to PU but contains a higher ratio of isocyanate which improves its thermal properties.
